Festival of Lights: A Holiday Symphony

As the holidays approach, a season’s glow takes flight,
Across the world, in every heart, we gather to ignite,
The victory of light over darkness, bringing hope and harmony,
With each candle’s gleam and twinkling star,
We share this joyous holiday symphony.
From Diwali’s gleaming diyas, to Kwanzaa’s candles bright,
Hanukkiah’s shimmering glow, to Christmas twinkling lights.

Diwali spreads its gleaming cheer, with lamps that chase the dark,
Lighting paths of hope and joy,
Shedding light on wisdom’s path with every spark,
As we inhale deeply the essence of light!, in every heart we embark.

Kwanzaa’s kinara, seven flames dance tall,
Each light a tale of heritage, uniting one and all.
A celebration of cultural awakening –
Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamma, Nia, Kuumba, Imani!
In unity, our spirits rise, echoes from the past.

Hanukkah shines with miracles, nine candles gleam with grace,
Shine as bright as the stars up high.
A beacon of resilience, in every sacred space,
Bringing hope and harmony, filling our hearts with warmth aglow,
With a brilliance that forever shines, in every heart, it grows.

Christmas trees adorned with lights, a twinkle pure and warm.
The carols and the mistletoe,
A reminder of Christ the Savior is born.
Spreading hope and harmony,
Embracing all in love and cheer, in the spirit of Christmas morn.

From the first spark to the final glow, throughout this season of light,
A tapestry of radiance, and harmony’s release,
Rich with love, joy and laughter that’s ever bright.
So, partners, colleagues and friends, far and near, may blessings always flow,
As we gather in this symphony of light, let warmth and kindness glow!

In the Spirit of the Season,
A Heartfelt Thank You!

During this important time of the year, we here at Msingi Institute would like to pause, reflect and share with each of you our sincere gratitude and appreciation for your encouragements and on-going support for this our first-year’s endeavor. We have made some stride in establishing some collaborative relationships and we look forward to building a successful partnership in the years ahead.

Thanks for your input, support and guidance that has enabled us to come this far as we continued to work to be a global change agent for mental health, mental health stigma and substance use. We are grateful you are part of our mission and vision.

Thus, may this holiday season be filled with beautiful memories, peace, light, and bring joy to you and your families.

Happy Holidays,
